About us

Barnaby is a GSD x Collie (We think) with perhaps a little lab thrown in.
He was born in August 2009 and is the best dog ever.

In January 2017, Laura decided she was ready to go to Dogs' Trust and find a new housemate.
She took a friend and they walked round all the kennels at Harefield going 'oo' and 'ahh' at the lovely dogs there.
Then, at the very last occupied kennel, there was a huge Rottweiler and, at the back, a black dog curled up in a basket. It was love at first sight, and despite the friend asking if she wanted to go round again, Laura knew she had found her dog!
This is one of the first pictures she got to take of Bumble, as he was then known.







Among his many nicknames and epithets are:-

• BarnaBee or BarnaBum... As his kennel name was Bumble

• Gentle giant... He is 35kg of love
• PUSD... For his amazing ears which are Port Up, Starboard Down
• Barnabelly... when all four feet are in the air!

Barnaby's human is Laura, she loves him, feeds him, takes him to fun places and carries the poo bags.
